I am a tech-enthusiast and literature lover.
Is the future fixed, and the past up for interpretation? Or is the past fixed, and only the future up for interpretation? Perhaps both, perhaps none, but I have set out on an expedition to explore and to keep record of my observations. - T
Born and raised in Vancouver, but I enjoy travelling the world whenever I can. I would live on the magical islands of Greece in a heartbeat, but the raging winds of a new era in artificial intelligence draws me into the vortex of Silicon Valley, where the future of our civilization is being formed.

As a kid, I would always straddle theatre and engineering. Making electric boats out of handheld fan motors and then joining the one act plays at school. I wrote a ‘pilot’ script at age 10, I won a speaking contest at age 11, and I was buying and selling used cell phones at age 12. In my 20s, I co-founded a startup dedicated to solving the dietary issue at restaurants - and we’ve now helped over 1 million people find suitable food easier. There’s something beautiful about healing people, through food, through tech, through whichever means are available. That’s what I’m most passionate about.
My lifelong friend and co-founder, Ashaya, and I created Honeycomb - a company dedicated to building dietary technology to help people find suitable food to eat anywhere in the world. To date we’ve helped nearly 1.5 million people. We built our own AI model that predicts allergens, ingredients, and dietary info at scale. Our goal now is to power the food aggregators of the world, like DoorDash, UberEats, and they many other food giants that feed the world.
Nectar of Time is my own podcast with a mission of synthesizing wisdom from unexpected sources. I believe there is value from both polarities of wisdom, the fictional and non-fictional worlds. I hope to bring individuals on to highlight the myriad of stories and ideas that colour our past, present, and future.
I founded one of the top video podcast studios in Vancouver. We’ve hosted and produced for top influencers, entrepreneurs, celebrities, olympians, and even major news and radio agencies such as NPR.
Aside from my tech career and the projects (or expeditions) I work on, I am also a believer in pushing my body to the limits. I’ve had to overcome a debilitating gut disease (Ulcerative Colitis) for most of my 20s, but I continue to improve to become the best version of myself. In 2023 I completed 4 half marathons, 1 Olympic Triathlon, 1 open water race, and wrapped up the year with a full stint of 75 hard (look it up). For 2024, I’ve switched my target to Tennis, a game which I used to be a top player at a young age.
Praise to God, the Creator of all things - thank you for this opportunity. Thank you to my family and friends who love and support me through these expeditions.
And thank you to you, kind visitor, for visiting my site.
With love, T.
